Michele de Lucchi
Vasocinque - vase
10½ dia. x 15½ h in.
This glass vase from Murano was designed by Michele de Lucchi and it is from the “Vetri a forma di vasi” (“Glass in the shape of vases”) collection. The vase is made out of transparent green blown glass. The production process starts with a wooden mold to shape the glass, otherwise it would be extremely difficult to achieve the same result by conventional mouth blowing technique. Once the vase has a desired shape it’s left to cool and then cut and assembled.
