Italy
1948/1952
Methacrylate, lacquered aluminum, brass, cast iron base

This floor lamp model 1056 created by architect and light designer Gino Sarfatti was manufactured in small quantities by Sarfatti’s light manufacturing company Arteluce from 1948 until 1952. It is a very simple, elegant and modern design. The lamp’s shade is formed by two semi circled partial shades that move so that the light could be directed only vertically, or be allowed to expand horizontally as well.
