The Orchetta wall lamps were designed in 1962 by Franco Albini Milano and Franca Helg and manufactured by Gino Sarfatti‘s light company Arteluce. During 1962 and 1963, Franco Albini and Franca Helg designed Milan’s Line #1 subway stations and one can see how the style and color used for this lamp resemble the iconic hand railing of Line #1 of Milan subway station.
