This Fiorenza armchair was designed by Franco Albini and manufactured by furniture maker Arflex in 1956 in Italy. This particular version was the second Fiorenza chair design that Albini made. For this 1956 Fiorenza chair, Albini decided to rest its  seat and back and armrests on a external and beautifully designed wooden structure. This design made this Fiorenza chair more stable than its first predecessor, while also integrating the support of the piece as a unique, visible and essential part of the chair design.
