This settee was designed by Finn Juhl

in close collaboration with Danish master cabinet maker Niels Vodder, with whom Juhl designed some of his most iconographic furniture pieces such the armchair Model 45 (1945), this settee NV 48 (1948), and the FJ 49 A or Chieftain chair (1949). These and other furniture pieces designed by Fin Juhl and made Niels Vodder between 1945 and 1949, are among the best examples of Juhl’s unique organic and undulating approach towards furniture design.

This piece is marked at the Niels Vodder on the wood structure at the bottom of the seat.
