Desk available with the Gio Ponti chair, Manufactured by Figli di Amedeo Cassina, Meda, Italy, ca. 1955. This desk is a good example of Gio Ponti’s work of the 1950s, with a more streamlined and squarely modernist design in comparison to his earlier work that blended elements of Rationalism and Neo-Classicism.
The desk was featured in the Gio Ponti solo show at Georgia Museum of Art from June 10th to September 17th, 2017
