This lamp was designed by Italian architect and designer Angelo Mangiarotti and produced in low quantities in 1962. The plexiglass part of the lamp conducts the light from one end to the other, not only emanating light throughout each plexiglass cylinder, but also producing a bright circular surface at the end of the cylinder.
