Ignazio Gardella Lamps

Ignazio Gardella was an accomplished Italian furniture and light designer, architect, and writer. He led the influential Casabella magazine, and in 1947, he cofounded the design and manufacturing company Azucena with fellow architects Luigi Caccia Dominioni and Corrado Corradi Dell’Acqua. In addition to his entrepreneurial and publishing successes, he was a prolific designer of furniture and lights.

Of all of his work, his lights were the most sought after and include brass chandeliers, wall lamps, table lamps, floor lamps, and sconces—all made with high regard for detail and the texture of the glass and with a strong sense of subtle modernity. We hope you enjoy our ever evolving collection of Ignazio Gardella lights. Please let us know if you have any questions.
