Casati Gallery was founded in 2003 by Ugo Alfano Casati in the edgy meatpacking district of Fulton Market in Chicago.
The gallery focuses on furniture, lighting, objects and art from post-war Italian to global contemporary. Its comprehensive collection includes some of the most well-known and respected Italian designers such as Franco Albini, Andrea Branzi, Luigi Caccia Dominioni, Ignazio Gardella, Angelo Mangiarotti, Fausto Melotti, Ico Parisi, Gio Ponti, Ettore Sottsass, moreover important and rare works by both internationally recognized and emerging designers.
The gallery owner, Ugo Alfano constantly travels to Europe in search for authentic, fine quality new pieces to add to the gallery’s unique collection.
Each year Casati Gallery participates in international art and design fairs around the world.
